Today's song of the day is Pumping Up Clouds by Urban Cone. This four-piece indie rock band hailing from Stockholm, Sweden has put out two solid LPs in their career, and in 2017 is dropping new material. They released "Old School" in January, which has received significant radio coverage in the States. In July, Urban Cone dropped "Pumping Up Clouds,", an upbeat, sunshine-y, synth-filled jam. This song is perfect for fans of groups like Magic Man, COIN, and even Phoenix. The lyrics describe an adventurous couple, leading a joyous lifestyle with lyrics like; "We'll be grooving to the old sounds...Dancing like we're young," This song definitely has a summer vibe, so this will hopefully take you right back to feeling warm again!
