Today's song of the day is The Way Life Goes by Lil Uzi Vert. The Philadelphia based rapper released his newest mixtape, Luv is Rage 2 in August of this year. Vert, being most famous for collaborating with Migos on "Bad and Boujee" and on his solo hit "XO Tour Llif3", has collaborated with indie-electronic duo Oh Wonder on this standout track. Oh Wonder, whose song "Landslide" is heavily sampled in this song, have released two LPs and are most known for their songs "Ultralife" and "Without You." This collaboration may not sound that successful on paper, but the track really shines, with Lil Uzi dropping verses over the repeating beat, and even showing off some pipes singing the original Oh Wonder track's chorus. For rap and indie fans alike, this song is one to check out!
