Today's Song of The Day is Surrender by Walk The Moon. The four-piece Ohio based band popular for tracks such as "Anna Sun" and "Shut Up and Dance" is releasing their third and newest LP tomorrow entitled "What If Nothing". After the group released two really upbeat and bright singles in "One Foot" and "Headphones" they dropped "Surrender", a slower and intimate track that still manages to have upbeat elements. The song lyrically, is about surrendering to a love, and the story is told quite well. Singer Nick Petricca's vocals are as strong and emotive as ever and the track just has so much life. This track is an explosion of sound, but still is a stripped down track- just a Walk The Moon version of a stripped down track.
