Record Store Day 2019
If you are a seasoned vinyl collector, a newbie, or anywhere in between, we here at GMAT highly recommend supporting your local stores and attending Record Store Day 2019! The annual event is being held on Saturday April 13th nationwide.
This event has been put on for over a decade and is well loved by music fans and vinyl collectors alike. According to their website, "This is a day for the people who make up the world of the record store—the staff, the customers, and the artists—to come together and celebrate the unique culture of a record store and the special role these independently owned stores play in their communities."
Record Store Day revealed their 2019 list last week of exclusive and limited releases- and there are certainly some unique and special pressings available! Some of our favorites include a pressing of Weezer's teal album, a pressing of morgxn's debut album, and a Wallows 7' 45 record. Check out the full list here to check out the releases!
