Prepare for Jade Bird's Debut LP
The third of the singles from indie singer Jade Bird's upcoming debut LP just dropped a few days ago. "I Get No Joy" and "Love Has All Been Done Before" gets followed up by the intimate and strength-filled track entitled "My Motto".
The tune is about overcoming obstacles and negative presence- and how keeping her head up is her "motto". The piano and acoustic-filled track mainly features the stunning and powerful vocals of Bird. She is perfect for fans of Maggie Rogers and Florence Welch- her voice has the same power, yet could still be described as soft and soothing. Her debut album will certainly be one of the best ones of the year if this track is telling.
