Arkells at The Bottom Lounge in Chicago, IL on 3/14/19
The Arkells are a band formed in 2008 from Hamilton, Canada but last night they came to Chicago, Illinois and rocked the Bottom Lounge. For never seeing a full set by this band, I had no idea what to expect but it was amazing. For starters there was no barricade which was odd for the venue I was at but the crowd loved it. The lead singer, Max Kerman, was jumping into the crowd and singing or bring 3 fans up on stage to sing karaoke. It was definitely a night to remember for everyone. Lighting wise, it was actually very well lit through the entire show which was awesome! On top of that, Max Kerman had a little light box that he would stand on and sing or play guitar. If you get the chance to see them at a festival or a show by you because you will not regret it at all.
