The Champs of Sad Summer
For fans of all things pop punk, the Albany-based group State Champs most likely are coming to a state near you. They recently embarked on a spring headlining tour entitled "The Living Proof Tour" to promote last June's LP of the same name, and are about to hit the West Coast for a late-March run.
However spring will soon become summer, aka festival season, and State Champs are teaming up with The Maine, Mayday Parade, and The Wonder Years for a cross-country touring festival entitled "Sad Summer Festival" that includes even more acts at each individual stop. Think a style a la Warped Tour in terms of formatting. An all day affair with many fun acts to please many types of alternative music fans.
