King Serpent Heats Up The Hart Bar in Brooklyn

The Hart Bar, new to the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, is an interesting space. Consisting of an upper level with exposed brick walls with hip clientele, plus a dim (and hot - very hot) candle-lit basement, reminiscent of your favorite dive, The Hart Bar has been booking some great performances.

Recently, Columbus, Ohio's King Serpent came to The Hart and blew the basement's doors down! This exciting band is a duo is comprised of guitarist, Liza Bohsé, and bassist, Mathew Rush - both members sharing vocal duties. The hot, intimate room housed the band as well as a very attentive audience, garnering a rousing applause after each track. King Serpent is primarily a rock and roll band, but they'll throw you a few pop jams to keep you grooving into the night as well - and if you're on your best behavior, then maybe Liza will sing you a Tom Petty cover while they're at it.
