The Solutions Tour Kick-off in Tempe, Arizona

The first night of the Solutions Tour, featuring Your Smith, Houses, and the beloved K.Flay definitely wasn't one to miss. Kicking off in Tempe, Arizona on September 3rd, the tour will be stopping through more U.S. cities until October 12th where it will conclude in Denver, Colorado before going overseas.

Your Smith, a one woman band out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, kicked off the show. Her unique indie music had everyone in the crowd dancing, setting the energy for the night. I recommend checking out Your Smith's song "You Could've Told Me," a track off the newly released Wild Wild Woman EP.

Following was Houses. Last year the group released a new EP called Drug Store Heaven, after not releasing any music since 2013. Megan Messina, vocalist and keyboardist in the group, is an Arizona native and was happy to be home and performing in front of her family. Their newest song "Left Alone" had everyone in the crowd swaying from side to side.

Headlining the show was K.Flay. The stage was set up with LED platforms that her band members played on along with screens behind them projecting visuals to go along with the songs. The band was also dressed head to toe in white, which created a satisfing balance against the colorful background. The song "This Baby Don't Cry," which is featured on the "13 Reasons Why" soundtrack, was an obvious crowd favorite. Everyone had a blast knew singing along with K.Flay. Towards the end of her set she even covered Liz Phair's hit track "F*ck and Run." Overall, K.Flay put on a very energetic set and definitely did not let her fans down.
