Gryffin’s 'Gravity II' Tour hits Raleigh
High off the release of his debut album Gravity, EDM artist Gryffin hit The Ritz in Raleigh on Sunday, November 17 with BUNT. and The Knocks to a roaring crowd of fans ready to dance and have a good time.
The night got started with support from BUNT., a German DJ duo that got the crowd warmed up with their unique mashups of popular songs. The set was short and fun, just a little taste of the night to come.

The crowd started to fill in as The Knocks came on stage for their DJ set. The duo hailing from New York City was full of energy and got people dancing. They had giant inflatable pigeons as stage props, which I thought was a nice touch to the vibe of letting people know they’re from NYC. Their upbeat dance music with songs such as "Ride or Die," "Classic," and recent release "Lucky Me" was perfect for getting the crowds energy up and making sure everyone was having a good time. It was a fun set that left people ready for more.
The Knocks
The lights and cryo came on strong as Gryffin took the stage around 10:10 pm. His stage presence and multi-faceted talents of going between the keyboards and guitar kept the audience’s eyes glued to him as the visuals and lights helped turn the room into a giant dance party.

With this being the 'Gravity II' Tour, Gryffin drew from material from his newly released debut album Gravity which hit number one on the dance/electronic charts in its first week. As he played songs such as "All You Need to Know," "Tie Me Down," and "Feel Good," the room felt like it was just radiating positive energy. My friends and I danced and sang the night away as we were surrounded by everyone else doing the same. The encore culminated with confetti being blasted through the room, which in my mind is always the way a great show should end, and this truly was that: a great show.
