The 'Where I Belong' Tour in Phoenix, AZ
Last month, fan favorites Simple Plan, State Champs, We The Kings, and Northbound took the 'Where I Belong' tour to Phoenix, Arizona.
Opening the night was Northbound, an alternative band from Boca Raton, Florida. They put on a great show and the crowd loved them. Lead singer Jonathan Fraser made a joke about how the last time he visited Phoenix, he was sweating too much. So, the cold rainy weather was a nice change. Check out their brand new album Soul Kiss, which was released on November 22.

Next up was We The Kings, a rock band out of Bradenton, Florida. Their set was filled with nothing but jokes and laughs. Travis Clark talked about how his daughter created a dance to their song "I Feel Alive" and that everyone in the crowd needed to try the dance. They also covered Jimmy Eat World's song "In The Middle" before closing out their set with "Check Yes Juliet." Be sure to stream their most recent single entitled "Turn It Up."

State Champs, a rock band out of Albany, New York, played third. With constant crowdsurfing and singing along at the top of the lungs, the crowd was enjoying themselves. You could feel the energy bouncing off of the walls. They closed out their high energy set with, "Dead And Gone," a fan favorite.

Closing out the night was Canadian rock band Simple Plan. Lead singer, Pierre Bouvier talked about how it felt good to be back in Arizona, after a little over a year since their last visit on the Vans Warped Tour in 2018. They played 'Where I Belong,' the newest song and inspiration for the tour, which is a collaboration with Derek DiScanio and Travis Clark. During their encore, Simple Plan invited fans onto the stage to take a picture and then drummer Chuck Comeau crowd surfed while Bouvier played the drums.
