MOTHER Has Returned with The In-Between
The Queen, Maria Brink is finally back with her band In This Moment and boy was the wait worth it. The first single release off the latest album, "Mother" is due to make its appearance to the public on March 27th is the perfect embodiment of what this band has been work so hard for all these years.
If you haven't heard of In This Moment by now then you clearly don't pay enough attention to the ladies in the metal scene. This band consists of Maria Brink with her hauntingly beautiful vocals, Chris Howorth on lead guitar, Travis Johnson on bass, Randy Weitzel on guitar, and Kent Diimmel on drums.
Over the years, this band has reinvented themselves with each album starting with the 2007 release of Beautiful Tragedy making them the metalcore counterpart of Evanescence, that is until their second release EP The Dream in 2008 when the band moved into a more melodic sound that kept progressing into their very own sound.
Through the years, this band has produced some great hits like "Prayers", "Comanche", "Violet Skies", "Whore", "Sex Metal Barbie", "Big Bad Wolf", "Sick Like Me", "The Fighter", "Black Wedding", and so many more. It's been 3 years since the release of Ritual which started to shape the true sound this band has been working very hard towards. Now here we are in 2020 and Mother is almost upon us.
