Lamb of God Releases 'Checkmate'
The heavy metal band Lamb of God has finally given us a taste of their soon to be released self-titled album with the first new track in four very long years 'Checkmate'. The metal community has patiently awaited for new music after their release of 2016's The Duke EP and it was worth the wait.
Over the last handful of years, these guys have been very busy touring with Slayer for their final world tour and playing festivals. Now they're back with a new album that will be released on May 8th and they're back on tour once again.
Lamb of God has become one of the most well known and loved metal bands in the scene. Starting in 1994 in Richmond, VA, they have worked tirelessly to make it to the point they have reached today and they deserve every moment of it. Consisting of Randy Blythe (vocals), Mark Morton & Will Adler (guitar), John Campbell (bass), and Art Cruz (drums), these guys know how to put on a great show and create memorable songs.

The first tour date for 2020 is going to be a special free show at Chicago's House of Vans on Friday February 14th. Fans can RSVP for the show on their website. Along for the ride, Harms Way will also be performing by opening up the show, Blythe's photography will be on exhibition including the new album artwork. This is going to be an insanely wild show that any metal head won't want to miss because Lamb of God puts on one of the best shows to experience.
