The Weight of Silence Releases 'GUCCI & GOLD'
The Australian trap metal group The Weight of Silence recently released their single "GUCCI & GOLD". This follows their 2019 breakout year when they collaborated with Danny Leal from Upon a Burning Body and released "Green Is the New Black" and later in the year released "Runnin' Through The 666". The influence behind their latest single comes from classic hardcore and nu-metal music mixed with a polished sound all their own.
Currently they're gearing up to release their debut album and a soon to be announced collaboration with one of the biggest acts in the game right now. They have proven with each single that they are able to remain heavy and also write mature lyrics without losing their sound.
"Gucci & Gold is just a raw, hardcore inspired song that came together like any old band practice jam... something you can bang your head to and overall just have fun with! While our album as a whole is heavily influenced by trap, hip hop and rap, this track is mostly inspired by bands like Deez Nuts, Trapped Under Ice, Body Count, etc" - Jacob Pedersen
This four piece band consists of Jacob 'J-Figure' Pedersen (vocals), Benny '4 Twenny' Ehmke (guitar), Bjorn 'Los' Santos (bass), and Nic 'Lil Gerbz' Courtney (drums). Each member bringing their own talents to the table and proving their talents work together perfectly.
