ELYNE Releases Single 'Light It Up'
The Italian alternative metalcore band ELYNE recently released the single "Light It Up" off their third album titled Art Of Being Human which was released March 6th. For this single, they joined forced with Of Mice & Men vocalist Aaron Pauley who they knew that they wanted to be apart of the song from the beginning.
"When we started writing this new album we didn't have something like this in mind," says vocalist Danny Metal, who is also widely known for his charismatic YouTube channel. "I remember just being in my studio writing on a piano this song and immediately felt like his voice would have been such a crazy thing. We met Aaron in Italy when we shared the stage together with Of Mice & Men so we had him listen to the song and asked if he'd be up to collaborate and he came up with these amazing vocal lines and lyrics that were 100% perfect for the song. It's been an easy process and I am so proud to have him on such a special song."
Formed in 2012, this four piece band consists of Daniele Faccani aka Danny Metal (vocals), Bruno Stella (guitar/vocals), Dario Capacci (drums), and Alessandro Farina (bass). Over the years, they have reached the top 10 iTunes charts on four separate occasions and gained millions of streams on Spotify with singles such as "Stand Tall," "Wake Up," "Outbreak," and "Throne Of Thorns."
“Being on this earth is not easy," says Danny Metal. "Just as it is not easy to be human. We are mysterious creatures, capable of the most beautiful and most despicable things. Art, which belongs to us at a native level, gives us the chance to inspire and express the essence of all ranges of emotions, and we try to wake up the next day trying to be better than the previous one. This is the art of being human."
