Lamb Of God Release New "Self-Titled" Album & Quarantine Performance
Lamb of God is BACK and they're not letting the COVID-19 virus stop them from performing and releasing their latest self-titled album available now on all platforms.
Earlier this year, they were gearing up to go back on multiple tours but due to the pandemic outbreak, their plans were postponed. Over the last decade, these guys have worked tirelessly touring all over the world. FINALLY, they have released their highly anticipated self-titled album and it was more than worth the wait. It's also the first album recorded without the founding drummer Chris Adler and it is their most politically charged album they've come out with in AGES, which couldn't be more fitting for the current state of our reality.
In the 13-minute quarantine session video, you can see each member remotely recording their parts from their homes, meanwhile we are given the blessed gem of Randy Blythe literally going as hard as he would on stage in his own closet, not kidding. If that isn't the most Randy thing to witness, I don't know what is. As a vocalist, he has come such a long way and he sounds better than ever even while recording from his closet.
Remote Quarantine Set-List:
"Checkmate"
"New Colossal Hate"
"Laid To Rest"
This band has come such a long way since they first came out into the metal scene in 1994. Over the course of nearly two decades, we have seen this band progress to who they are today. They're one of the most devoted, well loved, and popular metal bands in the scene and the world today.
In partnership with House of Blues, Randy sat down with Revolver Magazine to talk about the last show he performed to bring awareness to donating to Crew Nation with the House of Blues Music Forward Foundation to help support live music crews who were impacted by the pandemic.
If you haven't yet, check out their latest album streaming on all platforms now and available for purchase.
The guys also recently released a non-alcoholic beer called, Ghost Walker with BrewDog available here.
